a youth driven project in Ghana; working for MDG awareness.
The mission of Young People We Care (YPWC) is to work in an integrated manner by educating, motivating and getting youth involved in global issues that affect them. Our goal is to create a more knowledgeable, comprehensive, skilled and understanding generation of Ghanaian and world citizens' while at the same time inspiring young people to take effective action for a just world.
Our philosophy is that through informing, inspiring and participating in learning partnerships, youth will be inspired to get involved and take action to improve their local and global communities.YPWC in this direction supports youth action; creates the platform for youth to translate what they have learnt or desire into action while at the same time involving youth in decision making and key developmental and global issues.
By joining or supporting YPWC, you join a team of youth working hard to make a positive difference in the world. We are trying to do something that has never been done before!

YPWC is part of the Stand Up Campaign, an awareness organization looking to promote the section of the UNICEF Millenium Developement Goals on poverty. Seen right, YPWC has numberous events including demonstrations and lectures at local schools about the MDGs and how they can help reach the goal.
