Vegetarian Week!
Ever imagined what it would like to be as a vegetarian? Now you can find out! Youth for Change International members are proposing a challenge; become a vegetarian for a week. That means you cannot eat any chicken, beef, pork, and all other kinds of meat. It will definately be hard for most of us, but we're sure we can do it!
Vegetarian Week: December 7th to December 14th.
The challenge is completely optional, and does not need to be an entire week. You can become a vegetarian for a day, a half-day, a couple days, or even an entire week. After you complete the "journey", we ask that you tell us how the experience went; the responces will be posted on this page.
Want to participate? Please post your responces in this thread.

I am so happy to see your interest in this. I want so much join too but for me it change nothing. But maybe I will try to be for this week vegan and eat only vegetables. I always wanted to try it, but it is not so easy. Anyway I will try and will see how is it and maybe I will keep for all week.
And I want also offer to everybody who will have interest to be vegetarian for rest of life you can write to me and I can help. I read so much about it and I have experiences with to be vegetarian for 7 years. I can only say I feel perfect, healthy and my blood picture is better then when I ate meat. -Anti
Being vegetarian is simply fun. You get to experience something new, and the food you eat feels healthy. My vegetarian week lasted for four days. I'd have loved if I could've managed to stay vegetarian longer, but I couldn't.
Don't get me wrong, it was fairly easy. I survived four days without meat, but when I was in my fifth day I simply forgot I'm vegetarian and so I ended up eating a chicken sandwich at dinner and only after finishing half of it I remembered I'm supposed to be vegetarian.
Most people would think it's very hard to be vegetarian, when it's not. Maybe it's because I could give up meat easily. Although this experience made me realize how much meat we eat; it's a lot! But it also made me remember to eat reasonable portions of vegetables and fruit. I'd love to continue being vegetarian from time to time, and keep this going. -Noor
