Are YOU involved with a Organization, Foundation, Web Partnership, Program or a Local Group?
If you answered yes, are you interested in becoming a YFCI partner? Scroll down.
Main Partner: PThese groups are our inner-circle of partners who eleborate on projects, events, and exchange ideas about future programs. All of main partners are in constant contact on a regular basis, whether its about a new project, or helping each other edit what we already have. Some main partners have created other partnership programs, exchanging Memorandums of Understanding, and more. Main Partners are encouraged to have profiles on TakingITGlobal, Idealist.org, and other directories for the maximum networking potential. We also inform our members about updates from our main partners, and many of them participate in their projects.
Regular Partner: These people are the base of YFCI's partners. We are not as constant in contact, but we do check in from time to time. This is what category your group will probably be a part of. It is suggested that both partners link to each other on our websites and email our member base about the partnership between the organizations. We also recommend you create a group or organization listing on TakingITGlobal.org.
Partner Projects/Petitions: Partner Projects are specific projects or ideas of one of our partners or one of our members. This level of partnership is encouraged for charity/fundraising foundations. Projects must deal with making a difference in today's society, and have a specific interest in the opinions/lives of youth.
Website Partners: If you operate a organization directory, image service, link exchange, or another service that can help us with our website or navigating users to our website, we are interested in partnering with you. Your website must be filtered, and no innapropriate spam material may be found on any your servers.
Partnership Programs: These projects are made to bring youth and youth organizations together to achieve great things by uniting together. You are encouraged to become part of these groups.
BEFORE YOUR READ: YFCI DOES NOT GIVE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ANY OF OUR PARTNERS.
Who can partner? YFCI does not limit organizations/foundations/charities to any 501 (c) 3, etc. nonprofit registration or certification. Therefore, you do not need to be registered with your government (or the IRS) to be able to participate in our programs. All you need to be is a group that is striving to make a difference in the world. From online activist organizations, to grassroots projects, you will not be rejected if you comply with all of our restrictions. You are also encouraged to have website, but this is not necessary (we'll add information about your group on a page of our website if you do not have a website for your group).
Are there any restrictions to Partnerships? We do not partner with groups that only represent one religion, culture, gender, etc. You also understand that you are responsible for content on your website, not us. We will NOT partner with you if your website is only filled with advertisements, or has ANY spam material. Your main goal cannot be to make money. We are a youth organization/campaign/community not a business.
Do you have any recommendations for other websites? We refer many of our potential partners to TakingITGlobal.org, which offers many resources for youth-led organizations, and you can add your group to their directory (with thousands of other youth organizations from around the world). We also reccomend you become part of our partner base, and join organizations such as the Global Youth Action Network.
