Objectives

In a bid to aid the enormous youth empowerment programs presently organized by African Governments, Corporate bodies and some Non Governmental organizations, which at present are not making much life changing impacts at least in youths with regards to the huge sum dispensed, the values impacted and the results obtained. This organizations is poised to used inspirational approach blended with psychological methodology (as common in developed countries, United Kingdom and the United States for example) to impact values and change African Youths’ wrong-‘cognitions’ which has left a large number of them with several emotional pains or disorder which they most of the time bear unexposed to no creature.

 

To this length, this organization shall in the nearest future publish and distribute free of charge throughout the English speaking parts of the Africa a non-political/non-religious motivational magazine. Alongside this is the present-running AFRICAN SOUL INSTITUTE; a session of talk shows, motivational seminars and psychodynamic counseling during which therapy/counseling appointments can be booked free of charge by participants with severe emotional problems.

 

The following are the statement of purpose:

 

*           To pioneer hope and induce mental/emotional powers to the aggrieved and the depressed African youths whom their circumstances are seemingly contributive to their failure.

 

*           To teach African traditions, customs, beliefs, arts, way of life, and histories of origins of ethnics, tribes, cities and countries of Africa away from extinction

 

*           To present the biographies, the humble beginnings and the rough experiences of Legends of Africa for reflection, aiding youths realize the hero embedded within them.

 

*           To build readers ability to think and plan for the future with great imagination or wisdom right in the face of trials/failures.

 

*           To serve as an emotional companion to all African Youths with whom they would be safe to share ‘secret’ mistakes, failures, pains, and trauma. Thus enabling them, learn the art and goodies of sharing one’s errors, failures and depressions in place of the throes of bearing them lonely.

 

*           To guide youths in discovering errors and building a heart that responds to corrections and chastisement.

 

*           To teach the maintenance of a healthy living during seasons of challenges and trauma.

 

*           To engrave great senses of love, commitment and belonging towards our father-land ‘Africa’ by making our youths place high priority on what they can rather offer their ‘home’.

 

*           To organize/present AFRICAN HERITAGE AWARD to persons or groups with remarkable achievement.
