Love checking out new magazines? On this page, you'll find a list of wonderful magazines that are geared toward making a difference.
They're not your ordinary magazines!

ODE is a magazine that reports "positive news", which was originally printed in Dutch. Today, ODE has over 100,000 print subsribers, and many reading it online as well. This is one of my favorite magazines because it captures the beauty of this world, and doesn't only report the terrible things.

GOOD is for people who "give a damn" about the world. The best part about this magazine is 100% of the subscription fee goes to a NGO that you pick from the list, including Malaria No More, Ashoka, and more. Over $600,000 has been raised for nonprofits around the world. From a large variety of articles. this magazine has definately made its mark. GOOD even produces YouTube videos explaining interesting issues. This is definately worth your time (and money).

Yes! Magazine is "supporting you in building a just and sustainable world", through its interesting stories and reports. Each issue focuses on one theme, and also includes book reviews, columns, and much more. YES! has also published two books on nonviolence and sutainability. Don't let their magazine's simple design fool you; you'll be missing one great interesting magazine. Check it out for yourself with a free trial. Spanish subcriptions online are availible. Enjoy Reading!

World Ark is a magazine published by Heifer International, which gives you a "positive perspective" of things around the world. Unlike ordinary nonprofit magazines, The World Ark not only is about Heifer's projects, but you'll also learn about positive change makers like you. Plus, it's FREE. Your donation, though, helps Heifer International give animals to people around the world. Check it out!

"We're not out to save the world, but to tell the stories of those who are", is NEED Magazine's mission. This is definately what it achieves. Filled with many wondeful photographs and inspirational articles, this magazine has got a long way since its founding. "The Humanitarian Magazine", as they call it, is definately worth your time. Check it out at your local bookstore, or get it online. Have fun.
