Welcome to Youkai Vision

I hope this site proves to be informative as well as enlightening for all anime fans.  I for one have been a fan of this art form for well over 10 years and its my vision to have a career in this industry.  Okay enough of me, you want to see, hear and read about Inu Yasha, the Hanyou whose vision is to become a Youkai. The home page will give some information about the story line and we'll take it from there.  Right now I wish to thank you for taking the time to look over my site and I hope you would be so kind as to recommend this site in Inu Yasha world (see links) and even add me to your favorites.  I hope over the next few months to upgrade this account and bring more Inu Yasha stuff to you!  I am working on bringing in some more music video's and seeing if I can get a bunch of great screensavers too!



Story Summary

In the feudal land of Japan during the era of "Warring States" a young man named Inu Yasha, who was a hanyou (half-demon half-human) decided that he would steal the Shikon Jewel also known as the Jewel of Four Souls. He wanted it to become full demon since the jewel had the power to grant the deepest desire any living thing had. Kikyo, a priestess, guarded the jewel. Despite their feelings for eachother she had to shoot Inu Yasha with her enchanted bow and the miko arrow which imprisoned him to the history tree (G0-Shinboku). The fight that occured caused her to be mortally wounded and she is soon burned along with the jewel. Her ashes were then collected by a witch and the jewel... seemed to have disappeared.

50 years had past in that time when a young girl from the future by the name of Kagome was dragged into a well called the Bone Eaters' Well by Mistress Centipede while looking for her cat Buyo. When she looks around she sees the tree that Inu Yasha is stuck upon and after staring in disbelief and feeling his fuzzy white ears she free's him. The Mistress Centipede attacks Kagome and Inu Yasha saves her, but he does it for the sacred jewel that had just came out of Kagome's body. She brings it with her to the village and demons attack trying to get the jewel, a crow demon steals it and in an atempt to retrieve it Kagome shoots it with an arrow. The arrow shatters the jewel and so Kagome sets off to find it with Inu Yasha's help. Kaeda, Kikyo's little sister who is now 50 years older and the priestess puts a spell on those beads he wears around his neck. Whenever kagome says "SIT!" or "OSAWRI" in Japan he falls to the ground.

So this is how the adventure began, one girl, one hanyou and one jewel that is shattered. The vision is clear, both have to fufill their destinies and in the process they entwined their own visions to become one. They are bonded together and despite the difficulties and the fights they find love and their true feelings about one another can not be hidden.

That doesnt end the story....on the contrary that begins it. As each episode passes characters show their intentitons, their own visions come to life. Some will fail horribly while others will evolve into something unexpected.
