Youth and Gender Development Program

Youth joining hands for a sustainable future

Young People are a key resource for development of any nation. Yet youth are not given much opportunity and are regarded as a problem rather then the solution themselves.

Khuzdar, Pakistan is occupied with the same issues of young men and women. it is deeply immersed in tribal traditions and customs. Tribes have placed great emphasis on family and tribal honour on top of everything else. in this deeply conservative community, the lives of women and young people are severely constrained.

YGDP believes empowering youth towards a sustainable future where they can be free from tribal customs that enforce Child marriage, wata sata prevention from getting higher education and crimes like Honour killings!

YGDP's Strategies for building young leaders:

  • Capacity building
  • Awareness raising
  • Skill Development
  • Peer to Peer Learning
