YESTERDAY'S NEWS & FRIENDS
Dennis LaFontaine, Bruce Trombley, and Gordy Turner form the musical folk/bluegrass group, Yesterday's News & Friends. Specializing in "Erie Canal Music", and other traditional and original upstate New York songs, Bruce and Dennis have spent the last 12 years performing at coffee houses, historical societies, and summer festivals throughout Upstate New York. In November of 2007, Gordy joined the group, adding his voice and guitars to the original folk duos performances. CHILDREN SHOWS

Featuring traditional and original songs and stories that relate to the history of upstate NY, with special emphasis on the Erie Canal and the Adirondacks.
