2009 Front Range Tour June 12 - June 14, 2009 WOW... Did We Have Fun!
On Friday, June 12, 2009, the tour kicked-off with registration and one nasty rain storm. Fortunately, the rain didn't last, and we were able to head across the street to the Sonic Drive-in, for an old fashioned cruise night:
Saturday activities began with our caravanning out to an animal rescue center, where we were to see big cats, and other large mamals. Then, we traveled to a small airpark to see vintage airplanes. That evening, we toured a few miles south of the hotels, to The Adams County Fairgrounds and museum. Once there, we enjoyed a banquet dinner, featuring a variety of finger-licking good, BBQ styled favorites, prepared by The Colorful Colorado Classic Car Club of Denver.
