Well, junior year is over, and senior year has begun! It feels so weird to be the oldest class still in the school.... I took creative writing over the summer, which is what postponed my writing for so long and brought on that sudden deluge of poems. Very fun class. I also wrote two "short" (not really short :P) stories, which I might post up once I improve them a good deal. I'm trying to get No Dawn moving, by making up little 'to do' lists for my characters in my math notebook, and the steady interest in 0-2 has led to another chapter being halfway done. I have no clue what Duchess is up to with Last Rung and I suspect that she's forgotten. I shall remind her tomorrow morning. In the meantime, I just finished my half of a beta that I am doing in collaboration with EclipseMystic, on Musework's story, Theif's Destiny a beautifully written story, if I may say so myself! In fact, most of Musework's writings are gorgeous. She is definitely worth checking out.
History fair is finally over, and we are both overjoyed at the prospect of no more mind-numbing editing and script revising in the wee hours of the night, and sad that our awesome alcush class has dispersed to the winds and that Little Mo, Tas, Ari and I hardly ever see each other any more. Wouldn't do it again, but I really miss working with those three. It was frusteratingly interesting while it lasted. I'm still trying to choose a profession, much less a college, and quickly drowning under the pressure my mom's putting me under to work on resumes, applications, and essays. I'm extremely nervous about the prospect of teacher reccomendations, but
I'm taking art again! Whoopee!!! The stupid new period schedule is wreaking havoc with my schedule this year, though, so I can't take a science. Pbbbtht. But our teacher, Ms. Real, has agreed to let me go up a level to AP Art, so that I can try for college credit, and make myself a nice portfolio with her help. That promises to be very helpful. I'm really excited- I'll be working really hard on my art this year to see if a career in that area would be possible for me. As a result, despite my best efforts, updates will probably come slowly. But do not despair! I will at no point this year decide to abandon writing all together, nor do I intend to suffer a most unfortunate and unexpected death. I promise to write whenever I can and look both ways before I cross the street. So rag on me if I take too long to update, will you? ^_~
I am simply ecstatic about the upcoming opening of Corpse Bride by Tim Burton (that man and Miyazaki are geniuses of the best kind) and, with friends or no, I am seeing it friday as soon as school lets out. I plan to keep my little Shock plushie (the cute little witch from Nightmare Before Christmas) with me the whole day as a physical symbol of this pledge- I haven't been this pumped since Howl's Moving Castle! :D Námarië friends!

Ignoring the fact that my grades in school currently -suck-, my group just made Chicago Metro competition for History Fair at a 93%, which tops the class. Whew! I'm working, I'm working. No Dawn is on it's way to having a full chapter update. 0-2 is doing okay. SAS is on hiatus (I know, I'm terrible, I have such a short attention span) and Tick Tock, my new one, is making me very happy with all of the ideas I'm coming up for it with. I have friday and then the next week off, so between college visits and homework I should have plenty of time to bum around on my computer updating chapters and drawing. Yippeee!!! ~Pont

This is meant to be a desktop background, but I flipped it sideways and used it for my website. I think I'm going to change the coloring to blue, red is weird o_O so that'll be the next change.
Wellll, I wish I could say I was working on my stories, but I'm really not. (I'm such a slacker). It took me much willpower to get my butt scootin' on working on this post. So yeah, I'm slacking and wasting time with my new copy of Myst IV: Revelation. Got problems, yo? =^_~=
I am working on 0-2 more, and you have Tk.T from fictionpress to thank for that! She's be great and supportive and she's writing some crazy fine stories too, definitely check her out! No Dawn is in the works, I've abandoned Stone at Sunset (I know what you're going to say, but the angstyness was getting to me!) and I've just launched a new story called Tick Tock (TT) which vents out most of my clock-obsessed-ness and my severe temptations to come up with a new story! I'm not posting TT for a bit, though, because of what happened with SAS. I feel really bad for stringing my readers along like this. I swear this will be my last new story for a while.

I've been reaaaaally bored so I've been drawing a lot, and truth be told I really like how the sketches came out. I'm definitely going to color them, but for now they're in my sketches category on DeviantART. Look out for Iris, Cysne, Arya, and maybe Lastelle (I don't like that sketch much but we'll see) of course, I have to go home and scan all of this. But I'll alert you when it's all posted. Since I don't have a scanner or internet connection here *glares at empy computer bag*. I should be working on 0-2, but I've been slacking off. Sorry! I promise to work hard on it. I'm really spontaneous- sorry for the whole lack of stuff lately. I've been writing a lot but not posting it. I also am trying to get the hang of this whole photoshop thing. Bear with me peoples! ^_^;;;; Thank everyone for their unending patience, and thank Mei-Mei the SciFi junkie and Shadow Gryphon for reviewing. Duchess and I finally came up with a chapter for Last Rung, and a new one is already in the making. The sequel to Eclipse is definitely a promise, but I have to figure out what to write. Suggestions welcome :P. 'The Sky Fallen' is on hiatus due to me being incredibly stuck, and 'Escira' is stuck because I still need more characters (see form on 6.23.04 blog entry). A new story is now in the works! And better yet, I'm posting it either today or tomorrow! Expect '0-2' any hour now. I promise it has a plot :P. I wrote it on a notepad, so I have to type it. That's my excuse. Ja all!

I am a girl of Illinois, and I live near Chicago. I am 15 (whoo hoo! driving next year!) and I have a passion for writing, and (trying) to draw. My preffered media are Guache paints and Acrylics (for larger projects or dark surfaces), but I do a lot of sketches with pen. I love manga, anime (well, some; only the good ones like evangelion or rayearth or inuyasha), reading, and trying to learn photoshop, as well as messing with my compie. I play the oboe and the english horn in the school band, and I go to chinese school (ack) on saturdays. This coming week is my spring break. WHOO HOO!
