WARIO WARE Touched

The first Nintendo DS review. Wario ware touched like the Gamecube version consists of a series on mini games. This is wthe first game that has really utilised the touch screen technology with games such as tracing and back scratching (better than it sounds). This game is highly addictive (Briand tried to pull me away from it) and has a wide appeal for all ages. Even with basic graphics and sound it will continue to amaze you with bright graphics. Pleas note that a stylus helps maximze use (I got a frictioned burnt sweaty finger)

Singstar

The Games are changing. Sony is releasing a new Karaoke game called Singstar. It is a PS2 exclusive. It will come with 2 USB mics so you and a friend can sing all night. Singstar will measure your tone and timing. The scoring is very similar to dance mat games. After your song you will be able to play it back and while playing you can mute the original artist's voice and/or higher or lower your voice. There is a two player battle mode and a two player duet mode, a pass the mic mode and single player. There is also an option for you to connect 1 Eye toy and 2 mics so you will appear on the screen with funky disco effects. Songs will have the music videos on the screen when not using eye toy. Songs include:

  • I believe in a thing callled love
  • White flag
  • girls and boys
  • and much more different styles.

Tony Hawk's Underground

THUG is set for an October 2003 release and will appear simultaneously on the GameBoy Advance, GameCube, Playstation2 and Xbox. The GBA version will be a completely different version from the other 3, but like in the past, it will have similarities in level design and concept. The new features include driving, bmxing and walking. The best thing is that you will be able to play as your self by taking a picture of your self, sending it to Neversoft and get it sent to the game by linking up the console with the computer. There are rumours you might be able to use the eye toy instead.
