If it doesn't play, your computer might be missing the rgss100j.dll file, which you can get by way of the provided link. Put that file in the 'Galacticus' folder, after you've installed Galacticus.exe.

Detailed Instructions:

1) Click the above link to download the game.
2) select the 'save onto your computer' option when a window pops up asking you what to do with it.
3) you should get a "???????(E)" message, or something like that. then it'll ask where you want to save the file to. select a place of your choice, eg. My Documents, or just go with the defualt it already has there. you'll be able to click either "ok" or "?????". click "ok".
4) that window will close. go to whatever file you selected in step 3. (if you can find it, use the "search" option on your computer, via the "Start" menu.) there should be an orange and green icon called "Galacticus.exe" double click it to open it.
5) you have the option of clicking either "ok" or "?????". click "ok". stuff will load and the window will close.
6) go to the file you selected in step 3, and there should be a "Galacticus" folder. go into it and select the orange icon called "Game"
7) if it won't work, click the link above to download the rgs100j.dll file, and put it in the "Galacticus" folder. if that doesn't do anything, go to "Windows" in your computer, and put it in the "System" folder. if you have a different operating system, put it in the equivalent of "Windows"'s "System." (If you don't know what that is, which I don't either, ask someone you know who's good with computers.)
8) if it still doesn't work, or you're still lost, follow the below link the 'help' forum.

...And if you get japanese signs instead of "ok"s and "?"s just assume the first option is "ok".
