Yatton WI
We are newly formed WI (Womans Institute) and we welcome new members. We meet every 2nd Monday of the month. Currently at the Assembly Rooms but as from December 2011 it will be Yatton Rugby Club.
We aim to have speakers and events for all ages and try to have alot of fun as well as doing charity events. We would

Yeo Valley Lions Club The club is part of a Charitable Worldwide Organisation which raises money to provide support to worthy local causes, charities and clubs. We serve the communities of Claverham, Cleeve, Congresbury, Langford, Puxton, Wrington, Yatton and Surrounding Areas. Yatton Area Bee Project
YABeeP is a community based voluntary project launched March 2009 to help save our bees.
We use sustainable methods to protect and increase the local bee population to increase the number of healthy
honey, bumble and solitary bees in the area. With monthly meetings through the spring to autumn YABeeP will support
you to become as involved as you want, from bee friendly gardening right through to keeping your own bees. Further

Yatton and Congresbury Wildlife Action Group
A registered charity concerned with nature conservation in the two parishes. YACWAG has
purchased about 37 acres of local fields and a small wood off Claverham Drove which are managed as nature
reserves. We run a programme of events, walks and talks and produce a newsletter three times a year. More

Yatton Ramblers
We are a local walking club and meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, and on the occasional Wednesday. We were formed 30 years ago to encourage local people to use public rights of way as a means of both obtaining exercise and enjoyment. To actively ensure that the local footpaths and other rights-of-way are kept open for public access.
We also have numerous books published on walking around Yatton and local villages, and even near Wells.
