Fair Facts

• Yates County has one of the few remaining owner-operated fairs left in New York State
• Yates County Fair is an independent organization with no annual financial support by a governing body.  Therefore, the fair relies on community involvement through the financial support of sponsorship in order to maintain the traditions
  
• More than 8,000 people attend the Fair each year
  
• We are one of the only organizations left in Yates County that offer community amusement due to the cost of insurance
  
• Future goals of the Fair include necessary repairs and improvements to the facility as well as upgrades of the entertainment, activities, and exhibits.   Such improvements include public sewer, electric upgrades, new agriculture building, as well as overall maintenance.
