NATURE'S WAY FIBONACCI WRAP ~ A quick, easy knit on size 10 or 11 needles ~ very versatile wrap can be worn several ways for natural elegance and the bias shape creates a wrap that can be worn over the shoulders unpinned without falling off! If you wear it over your shoulders and pinned in the front, it looks like a vest!
I used the Fibonacci numbers that create such beauty and order in the natural world to design this wrap…the numbers create a pleasing, orderly natural element in the bias knit design. The sample was knit using my own precious handspun angora/alpaca/mohair/wool yarns in various natural marled colors ~ this is an excellent way to use small bits of handspun samples or scrap yarns without making the piece look like it’s unplanned (because it’s not!) Nature’s Way is, after all, the best way J The marled yarns add overall interest and softness between color changes. Wrap measures 70” x 12” and requires approximately 9.5 - 10 ounces of yarn in heavy worsted weight or slightly chunky....perfect for handspun yarns!

COUNTRY SILK POCKETBOOK
This funky little bag is knit in one long piece on straight needles & then sewn together using Yarn or a Tale's Hand Painted Country Silk but can also be knit with Recycled Sari Silk, Cotton, Linen or any strong yarn. Easy enough for a beginner and interesting enough for a seasoned knitter! The Wide Basket stitch is charming and the tassel gives the bag a flirty edge. Bag Measures 9” x 6 to 6.5” with 50” shoulder strap. Yarn: 2 oz Yarn or a Tale Hand Painted Country Silk (approximately 200 yards), used double Needles: Size 8 straight knitting needles & #10 Double Points Gauge: 3.5 stitches per inch on size 8 needles.

Felted Halloween Treat Bag
This bag is a perfect size for treats or for use as a handbag. Knit in the round with a duplicate stitch jack o lantern face. Bag measures 10” x 8 “ with a 26” handle, after felting. We embellished our example with Halloween Bell earrings just looped through the felted fabric…be creative with beads, earrings, or other Halloween finds. This is a terrific bag to knit up in any color combination for any season!
