STORM
(Myself) & RAIDER RULE THE WORLD

Fantastic News!! From www.ptx-xma.com
PTX members Storm (Sam Levey) and Raider (Zara Phythian) rocked at the recent WOMAA World Games in Germany.
Over 12 Nations attended in full force too, and the standard of competitors from all nations was very high, as to be expected at a World Championship.
This brought out the very best from our PTX ladies, especially Storm who was after her very first World Title (of which many will follow i'm sure).
Our high profile member Raider was busy promoting her movies, Star Competition, finding time to sign autographs, coaching her students who also did a fantastic job, as well as of course trying to add another World title ring to her collection.
Within the first day of competition both Storm and Raider took the Black Belt Synchronised Forms title.
after the 3 days of hard competition both raider and storm had taken GOLD in all there events and also got through the preliminaries for the individual World Title grand Championships.
Both members were shattered by the time the evening show of the grand finals took place, but once again both of them entertained the large audience with fantastic forms and weapons display that captured them more World Titles in process.
They Incredibly bagged 15 GOLD medals between the two of them and won the following World Titles and Rings

STORM (World Champion Ring Holder)
World Youth Black Belt Forms GRAND WORLD CHAMPION
World Sync Forms Team Champion

RAIDER (Triple World Ring Holder)
Womens Black Belt Forms GRAND WORLD CHAMPION
Womens Weapons Form black belt GRAND WORLD CHAMPION
Womens Black Belt Point Fighting GRAND WORLD CHAMPION
World Sync Form team Champion

I guess Germany got Raided in the Storm!!!

Well Done Ladies

****SUPPORT OUR WISH UPON A STAR SHOW****- "ESSENCE OF THE DRAGON"  10/24/04
Rebecca Crompton
15th December 1990 – 12th September 2004-10-22

Rebecca was a normal 13year old, who went to school, loved music, had lots of friends and was extremely passionate about Nottingham Forest F.C.

Rebecca, like most 13year olds, had crushes on pop stars and longed to be the one they sang too. Then one day in July, after an accident at school, Rebecca’s mum took her to the hospital for a routine check-up.
What happened next was every parent’s nightmare! The Hospital diagnosed Rebecca with a brain tumour. Rebecca was given between 6 – 9 months to live. Unfortunately, she deteriated fast over the following 2 months. But, in this time she for-filled some of her dreams. Rebecca’s bedroom was covered in West Life posters, and through ‘Wish upon a Star’ Charity for sick children, she met and was sung to on stage in front of a huge audience.

Rebecca also spent a day with the Nottingham Forest Team, and had the chance to meet all of her favourite players. She even spent a day at C.D UK, none of which would have been possible if it wasn’t for the ‘Wish upon a Star’ Charity.

Rebecca died peacefully in her sleep on September 11th 2004, after at least achieving some of her dreams.
Master Marke announces that this years annual theatrical show "ESSENCE OF THE DRAGON" will run for 2 nights for the very first time, and that all profits are being donated by the College of Martial Arts to the 'When You Wish Upon A Star' Charity.
We ask that all members please please help us this year and support this very important event, and Master Marke promises an even better show than ever before as all involved are working very hard to develop a fantastic night of Martial Arts Spectacular.
Black Belt friend of Rebecca, Chelsea Goddard (herself a member of the PTX) will be performing a XMA Form dedicated to Rebecca, and the Raider Zara Phythian will be performing a very special choreographed Martial Dance that will never be performed again outside of the show in honour of the work of the Wish Upon A Star programme, which is called DIVA!
Other highlights of the show are ofcourse, the wonderful PTX, the XMA club from the College aswell as appearances from the Lil Ninja's and Dragons!
Every year this show sells out, so lets make this year no acception, please support a wonderful night of Martial Arts Entertainment along with the When You Wish Upon A Star Charity!
The Show will run on 18th December and 19th December at the Bonington Theatre in Arnold, and tickets will be on sale very soon!!

Good Luck to Zara & Kayley

Good luck goes to Zara & Kayley As they head out to Kent State University to preform special martial arts displays before heading to the eagerly awaited America championship belt titles, I'm sure they will bring back loadz of medals and rock at the tournament!! Kayleys preforming a new Kama form, which is looking awsome and Zara preforming her well known whip chain. Go and crack the tournament girls. See you when ya get back!!

East Side story!

My first starring role as Baby G! Along with other PTX members!

The Short Film, Directed by Master Marke as part of his cinematography/Director exam, stars PTX Captain (me) in her first role, along with fellow PTX and College Students, Ashley Bell, Robyn Cooper, Tiffany Anderson, Kavita Quigley, Jack Hallam, Decland Neil, Sarah Hughes, Richard Muir, Kayley Marke and even a guest appearance from Sabom Glen Hallam.
The College cast were also joined by Leicester Maverick Tae Kwon Do Black Belt Elliott Stevens. Master Marke would also send special thanks to the production crew from the college who made it all happen, Mr Kim Anderson, Sabom Zara Phythian, Sabom Glen Hallam, Andy Phythian, Janet Corderoy, Sam Charlton, and of course Sabom Juliet Marke.
The story tells of a young girl 'Baby G' (Me) who along with her gang mates participate against their arch rivals 'The Jets' in what is called 'The Clash', a modern gang challenge that involves the martial arts performance evolving into gang supremacy of the streets!.
The Film runs just short of 30mins, and aswell as part of sir's official exam, it has already been booked for short film festivals around the country in 2005.
It is hoped that the film will be first publicly shown at the 'Essence of the Dragon' show at Bonington Theatre this December!
