I'M BACK! Hey everyone! Sorry about the forever-break, I kinda just moved on from website-ing for a little bit. I don't even know if I'm back for good, but I did want to work on updating my website a little bit...Wow, now that I think about it, ALOT has happened since I updated this! First of all, yes, I did go to NYC, and YES Roger Bart was there! He was absolutely fantastic, as well as the rest of the cast - unfortunately it is closed now (effective January 6th) but while it was running, it was a fantastic show. The entire NYC trip was the most fun I've ever had - I feel sooo fortunate to have gotten to go, because it was literally the best time of my life. For a very, very detailed look at my trip, you can click here School started in late August, and ended in mid-December. Really, the only very very significant thing that happened was my Portfolio Review. If you are an art major, you are required to pass a Portfolio Review to continue on with schooling. The week before that really sucked - for a week straight, from dusk to dawn, my life was work, work, school, homework, homework, work, more homework, more school, more work...It really sucked. The highest you could get was a 90, and you needed a 45 to pass. I got 46 :X. Oh well, I was ecstatic to simply have passed. On the list of people who submitted, about half did not pass. So I was pretty happy, regardless of my score. So YAY I PASSED!!! And nothing really new in the working arena, besides the fact that I'm getting great reviews. My boss constantly tells me how much I've improved over the pass couple months, and how the whole business would run much smoother if everyone stepped of as half as I stepped up. He's been saying this stuff for a while now, but it really makes me feel good that they're noticing my improvements. So everything is going really, reeaallyy good for me right now! Hopefully it lasts for a very, very long time!
OMGOODNESS Hello everyone! Well I'm feeling much better than last time I posted. Of course I'm still deeply saddened and affected by this incident, but I'm still feeling alot better. One thing that is making me extremely happy is - get ready for this - I'm going to NYC! Woohoo! Me and two really good friends of mine are taking a trip to see Young Frankenstein on Broadway this summer! I am so excited, I can barely breathe sometimes. Just thinking about sitting in the Hilton watching Roger Bart perform is just unfathomable to me. We're going to have a blast. To be honest...I'm mostly looking forward to seeing Broadway...and the hotel room XD It's going to be alot of fun. My biggest fear: Roger Bart skipping out on the day we want to go. Ugh, I'll be so upset...Roger Bart, if you by chance happen to read this...try try try to make sure to perform July 2nd! I'm traveling from Ohio to see you and I'll be oh so sad if I can't! *squee* I am so excited...I'm sure I'll be rambling about this every so often because I really can't keep all these YF thoughts in my head without exploding.
ADDED STUFF Ok well this past week has been a very emotional week for me. I found out that an old friend from high school died in a car accident on April 29th, 2008. I wrote about it here, it was something that I needed to write. I needed to get my emotions sorted out and in writing. Also, before all of this happened, I made some images on Photoshop - some motivational quotes. I really enjoyed making these; the effect was uber-fun to create.

FINALLY UPDATING Whoa...It has really been forever since I have updated this website. Unfortunately, spring break is over, but there are only a few more weeks until summer!! This summer is going to be really great...this whole winter was just awful - the seasonal depression just doesn't do it for me. But it's great right now...the buds are turning into leaves and flowers are coming...only a few more weeks until I'll be sunbathing by a pool or up at Lake Erie. And! - I do have some good news - I recently met a great guy, and we are now officially dating! I have a feeling this'll be a good one - he's really a great guy :) Anyway, no real...updates for the website...I really have been too busy to even try to think of adding some stuff here...but I really want to use some of my free time to doing all of those things I wanted to do in my previous entry...generally just the editorial designs and the articles. Right now I am way too busy with work and finals...but one day! One day...:/
NEW LAYOUT...AGAIN! I am soo happy with this layout. It's so clean, simple, and professional looking. And it's easy to work with - sounds like a winner! That blue is one of my favorite colors, as well as dark gray so it's really working for me. It's spring break right now (yay!) so I'll have alot of time to start working with this website. I'm going to start working on articles for the website; I have alot of ideas and I can't wait to start working on some of them. I can't wait to get my thoughts down on paper in a way that might give some other people some insight on how I'm dealing with some things, and hopefully help some people. I also want to start working on some fake-projects to practice with creating some editorial designs. I want to practice making ads for magazines and/or events so I can add that to my portfolio. So I have alot of plans for thsi website, I just have to get off my lazy booty and get to them. But I'm going to bed right now; I thought it was 2:18 until I looked at the clock on the computer which says 3:18 - daylights savings time! Right now, I think it's worth the lost hour of sleep if the sun will set later - the darkness at 4:30 has not been working for me x_x
