These are the tools that NYPAPS uses on their investigations.

We have a great piece of new equipment! One of our investigators made a Ghost box! This is what it looks like. We have used it a couple of times and so far we are inpressed we have more testing to do on it before we make a finial decission on what we think. Keep checking back

CAMERAS we use many cameras but our most favorites are the digitals. You can see what you got as soon as you take it and it really saves on money so you don't have to get the whole roll developed. Here are some of our cameras.

Along the lines of cameras we use HI-8 camcorders that have night vision. We also have tripods to place them on.

Next is our tape recorders for our evp's. We use both digital and a regular cassette tape. The best tapes to buy are the High Bias. Best also to use an external mike but we use both, just in case some one misses something the other has it. Don't forget to wear your headphones while doing an investigation. You may hear them talking and be able to have a conversation!

Along with these we use our head phones during an investigation it helps you hear the evp's while there. Then you can answer them and ask them more questions like we did in our evp section.

You also will want to check on the temperature. So for that we use a Infer- Red Thermometer. This one from Radio Shack is good priced at around $50.00. It's a good one to start with.

The next piece of valuable equipment is an Eltromagntic field detector EMF. The old style we needed two hands for this but now this new one from cell sensor is great one hand and your off. We love it. These run around $40.00. It is even called the Ghost Meter.

Now if you can't afford one of these a normal every day compass does the exact same thing.

Next we have our laptop it is a Dell. We use this to download pics and evp's while ther if necessary.

The rest of our equipment we don't have pictures of, but I think you can imagine them for yourself. Our computers are our best friends. We use Adobe Audition to edit our evp's and Adobe Photo shop to hold all our pics. When we go out we take a pen and Paper just in case we want to right down any thing important. A watch, to keep track of time, you may want to know what time it is when some thing good happens. Don't forget lots and lots of batteries. You don't want to be out in the dark with no extra batteries for those flashlights. Which brings me to our last piece of equipment FLASHLIGHTS and not just one!
