The attacks on September 11, 2001, was very traumatic for me. I had nightmares for weeks.
When watching a program yesterday, it hit me once again! Many people in this world hate
us for various reasons. Seems that because you believe in a different way than I do, you
try to kill us. Life is short, and we shouldn't waste time with hatred! We need to get along
and stop killing each other! September 11, 2001, so many innocent people died. The heros came
out and many gave their lives, from Firefighters, Police, and ordinary people who just responded
without thinking about themselves. I think about the Firefighters who ran into a burning building
and Police who tried to make order out of such a disaster. We lost 343 Firefighters, 70 Police
Officers, 4 First Aid Emergency Response personnel. Total number lost that day was 3,016 people lost.
I am proud to be an American! My prayers go out to all the people lost that September day!
