the BIG venus vote is a way to reward people for the hard work they put into their websites. it’s also a really good way to get more visitors to come to your site!
websites are nominated by me, and by you, then visitors can vote for their favourite. the overall winner from each category will get a HUGE award for their site and loadsa other prizes, like interactive quizzes and dollmakers. The 2nd and 3rd sites will also get an award and a smaller prize.
to nominate a site for the award, or to nominate your own, leave a message in the guestbook with the website’s address. we will check it out and see if it’s good enough (sorry but only the BEST sites make it through to the vote). yes www.venus-honey.tk is nominated but don’t feel like you HAVE to vote for us because it’s our site – we want you to vote for us because you think we are the best! it is not biased and we have the same chance as everyone else in the competition.
voting will start once we have 5 sites MINIMUM in each category: cartoon dolls and graphics, webzine and stories, teen life, interactive (gets the visitors involved), and best of the best. a site can be nominated for any number of categories they like!
once the voting has begun, nominated sites can put special ‘vote 4 me’ buttons on their site which will take the visitors to this page to vote. you can use as many as you like, and put them wherever you like! but they are HTML so if you have a freewebs site make sure you change the paragraph type to ‘raw HTML’ (if you need any help with this just ask)
