Why the name ModMan? I started my modding career with Baldur's Gate, experimenting with the tools developed by TeamBG and other coders. I became fascinated with the inner workings of games. The introduction of Morrowind and its Construction Set allowed me to stretch my creative muscles. I was involved from the beginning of that modding community, designing the original "Hunger Mod," a prototype that eventually was built and improved upon by others. I added the Windowlights mod as a aesthetic improvement to the visuals in the game.
Favorite Books:
Tolkien: The Hobbit, Silmarillion (my favorite), Lord of the Rings
Shogun (James Clavell)
Stephen King (anything BEFORE Pet Semetary, where in my opinion he became too commercial and hackneyed): The Stand and Salem's Lot are my highlights (favorite Stephen King book and I loved the cheesy 1979 movie too)
Stephen R. Donaldson: Thomas Covenent trilogies (haven't read the third series yet)
Michael Moorcock: any of his fantasy works (Corum, and of course Elric) and some of the metaphysical stuff
Dan Simmons: Hyperion series; great science fiction
Favorite Movies (no particular order):
Kubrik's: A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, The Shining, Dr. Strangelove
Excalibur
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Reservior Dogs
The Usual Suspects
Mini/Series: Band of Brothers, Rome, Sopranos, The Shield
