SYNOPSIS:

The Stock 27-turn was a very exciting race. Both Carlo Dionisio and Joel Tinio,  having given their best on the 1st heat of qualifying, made 22 laps and separated by only .2 of a second. The 2nd heat of qualifying was a little bit slower for all. Almost all drivers only made 21 laps. At this point Mike Dionisio took the 3rd sweet spot for the grid.

As the 1st heat of the race started, Carlo Dionisio made an error on the 2nd turn and off goes Joel Tinio for the win as Ronald "ITIM" grabs 2nd & Mike with 3rd.

The 2nd heat gave both Carlo & Joel a very good battle, exchanging positions as they were heading for the backmarkers.  Since Chito Detabali did not give way to Joel, Carlo made a sneaky move and passed  to take the win.

3rd heat was badluck for Joel as he went-off the track at the start of the race. Carlo was then being followed by brother Mike who were in a tight battle. Carlo was able to protect his line for almost 3 minutes & 30 seconds ruined by a glitch upon entering the back straight. Mike now in 1st place was followed by Ronald. Towards the end of the race, Ronald made a slight error and Carlo passed him. Joel Tinio was able to catch up from the 10th position to a remarkeable 4th... SUPERB DRIVING! KUDOS to JOELT!!! At the end of the Race, it was a tie between Carlo Dionisio and Joel Tinio... WHAT A RACE?!!!

It was definitely a YOKOMO VS. SCHUMACHER BATTLE Congratulations to the newbie EP Drivers, JP Calimbas, Cholo Paragas and Jon Panaligan of Team Schumacher.  Look at what DUNKIN DONUTS can do to the results HAHAHA

XTREME NEWS UPDATE: RB Concept, Team Magic, Schumacher, Team Tekin, DC Motorsports, Caster Racing, RJ RIDE

We are the 2005 EFRA Champion!!!

The rain has stopped, the puddles have finally gone away and we have had the chance to reflect on winning the 2005 European Championship with the Mi2 and Teemu Leino.
With the weather challenging to say the least, this was Schumacher's first Euro title for some time, but was fully deserved.
After qualifying second behind current World Champion Marc Rheinard Teemu won the first two legs of the A final with some fantastic drives particularly in the second leg.  Nose to tail for 4 minutes with Teemu always looking for a way past before he capitalised on a very small mistake from Marc - what an exciting and nerve racking race!
One of the most loyal (and unluckyest?) drivers in the industry Teemu has worked so hard to bring this home for all his sponsors for which we say 'Thank You' and congratulations.
Schumacher would also like to thank all of Teemu's others sponsors because of cause it is a team effort...you know who you are...thank you for your support.
The celebrations lasted well into the night (sorry morning!) and this time we were not drowning our sorrows....congratulations to you again!!!

NOW AVAILABLE: DC MOTOR SPORTS & RJ RIDE

  • Strategically placed airflow vents on the endbell provides greater commutator cooling while extended brush life. This works in conjunction with the Turbo-flow motor can to circulate air throughout the motor, resulting in lower operating temperatures, which provides superior motor stability.
  • Newly designed brush-hood hardware that keys into the molded portion of the endbell enabling a more precise brush alignment.
  • Large CNC aluminum brush hood heat sinks rapidly dissipates heat, keeping your brushes cooler and lasting longer.
  • Pure copper brush-hood hardware provides super low resistance and superior brush stability.
  • New XXX Super-Silver brush compound increases power output while offering extended brush life for up to 20-40 runs (depending on the application).
  • Onboard Capacitor System, with LED, is integrated inside the endbell’s design, reducing the possibility of damage to the capacitors. The LED acts as a troubleshooting guide and will only illuminate if the motors positive and negative power wires are installed in the correct orientation.
  • Highest grade ceramic magnets available

Available in RPM or Torque type standard armatures for smooth power delivery
Available with the Ultra-Light milled armatures for maximum power and top-end performance.

Armature Specs:

We offer a wide selection of different winds, for Off-Road, Oval, Touring Car and 1/12th Scale. Different wire gauges and patterns are incorporated into every motor to ensure maximum performance is obtained for your racing application. By using different wire gauges and incorporating different patterns and winding techniques we are able to achieve maximum performance in every class of racing.

The Best just got better: The Ti3 is based off the famous Ti platform while being the latest generation Yokomo base motor to hit the market. The Ti3 teardown was used by Team Associated driver Craig Dresher to dominate the 2005 Reedy Race Of Champions at the world famous Tamiya test track in Aliso Viejo California...

The more notable differences on the Ti3 are the addition of surface mount capacitors and improved brush dampening system. These features combined with the original Ti design have already proved this new power plant to be a contender...

      Ti3 Features:

      • Surface Mount Capacitors
      • Dual ball bearing
      • Color-coded brush heat-sinks
      • Improved brush vibration damping system
      • Heavy-duty solder tabs
      • High Strength Dual C4 magnets
      • Quad Air Flow Vents
      • Comes Standard With Super Silver Compound Brushes

At the heart of this power plant is our custom hand-wound armature utilizing winding techniques from years of experience...

Both XXX & Ti 3 armatures feature:

          1. Symmetrical Pattern Windings for maximum performance and increased stability.

          2. Custom Formulated High Temp Silver Solder ensures the connection between the commutator and magnet wire will be secure and not become faulty at elevated temperatures and extreme RPM use.

          3. Kevlar Tied Commutator for all winds from 10 turns and below.

          4. Zero Gravity Epoxying System is incorporated into our production process; this system ensures the total impregnation and encapsulation of the epoxy between the armatures windings, while also providing a completely uniform coat of epoxy from top to the bottom of the armature.

          5. Custom Formulated Epoxy Resin – With today’s high output batteries not just any epoxy will do, especially with today’s motors reaching 60,000 rpm while in use in the vehicle. The maximum bond strength of the epoxy must be maintained through the entire heat cycle of the motor to prevent the wires from shifting and throwing the armature out of balance.

          6. Precision 3-Dimentional Dynamic Balancing is by far the most advanced and precise form of balancing there is today, resulting in absolutely no vibration whatsoever. With the extreme RPM’s we see in today’s motors even the slightest vibration from the armature will cause the brushes to bounce, in any motor, no matter what that motor’s designs might incorporate to help prevent this from happening. Precision 3-Dimentional Balancing insures absolute brush contact is maintained through the entire power-band of the motor, especially at high RPM’s, resulting in a motor that requiring less frequent brush and commutator maintenance.

          7. Drill Balancing – Every DC Motor Sports armature is drill balanced, drill balancing is superior to epoxy balancing in two aspects. 1) The epoxy putty used for balancing today is only rated to 30,000 RPM, with almost every modified motor sold today capable of producing 30,000 RPM’s it is almost guaranteed that 1 out of every 3 motors sold that are epoxy balanced will go out of balance and become faulty. 2) Epoxy balancing adds weight to counteract the force of unbalance, adding weight to the armature increases inertia; increasing inertia slows the rate at which the armature can accelerate (Spool-Up time). Drill balancing on the other hand removes material to counter act the fore of unbalance, which lowers inertia and Decreases the Spool-Up time. Contrary to what you’ve might of heard about drill balancing altering the magnetic flux produced by the armature in a way that would hinder the motors performance is Absolutely False.

          8. Diamond Trued Commutator – Every armature is finished off by truing the commutator with a diamond lathe bit, providing an ultra smooth mirror finish.
