and you are indedd correct! Yes, American girl Ashley Tisdale
was born on July 2, 1985 in West Deal, New Jersey. Not only
is she an actress, but she is also a model, producer, and singer.
Her first album, Headstrong hit stores on February 6, 2007 and later
sold 64,000 opies, reaching #5 on the Billboard 200 chart.

She didn't start out like that, no. She became a huge hit on the
Disney Channel original series, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, starring
as Maddie Fitzpatrick, the candy counter girl at the Tipton Hotel. About
a year later, she popped up again on another HUGE Disney Channel movie,
better wise known as High School Musical, where she played Sharpay Evans.
High SChool was such a big hit that it has won the Artiso Award for Best
Children's Television Programming, a Billboard Music Award for Soundtrack
Album of the Year, an Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's program, as well
as Outstanding Choreography.

Ashley Tisdale is Jewish on her mother, Lisa Morris', side, and considers herself
Jewish. She was discovered by Bill Perlman, who is her current manager. She sang for
Bill Clintion at the White House when she was just twelve years old!
