City Treasury

Total: 709,600 Marbles

Definition: A collection of money that a city owns

Our Treasury is used so that all of you Marbles can get paid, have free housing until you can afford the house you want, give new Marbles so cash so they aren't completly broke, host contests with marble rewards, give fortunate events and so forth...

Our Treasury is built on donations, when you buy things from city stores we get all of the marbles, the bills you pay, what you pay for our unfortunate events, and so on...

A Treasury is very important and Marble Land has one, but it isn't very large. We need you to donate and buy things so we can raise our total. The total jumbles a lot because Marble Land is huge and everyday people get paid, join, collect money, pay money and more... check back at least once a day to make sure the total hasen't reached bottom.

If the total gets below 100,000 Marbles then people will start losing jobs and some things on the site will start to close down temporarily, sometimes permantly! So keep the totals high and there won't be any problems. Would you rather donate some of your money on free will or would you perfer to lose one or all of your jobs???

Everytime the total comes to a million (for ex. 1 million, 2 million, 3 million) we will have an event, such as comic relief, street parties, holidays, and such... using the funds from our total, and at each of those parties the top donator at that time will get a prize from someplace on Marble Land of large value.

Goal: Have 1 million marbles by August 31st

Us Marbles, have quite a werid explanation of 'work', since you can easily do it with your marble control we don't pay you much. All you have to do is show up on your days and sign the guestbook! Submit a M-form to apply. You get paid in marbles, our currency, once a week (Friday or Saturday). You can have up to- three jobs at a time. If you have been through college for that field then add 5,000 Marbles to your weekly pay.

Government: Monday

• Positions Available: Vice President (8,000), Treasurer (5,000)

Clothes: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

• Positions Available: Model (3000+one outfit you model each week), Designer (6000), Supplier (9000)

Food: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

• Positions Available: Producer (8000), Cook (7000), Waitress (4000)

Childcare: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

• Positions Available: Monitor (5000)

Relator: Monday, Tuesday

• Positions Available: Marketer (6000)

Sports: Monday

You can't take too many days but post which days your taking off ahead of time otherwise it will count for a warning.

On Warning- Missed one day of work without notification.

Fired- Missed consective days of work without notification (already was on warning).

To get your job back you must post an excuse on why you couldn't sign-in and, sign-in for one whole week (including weekends) without missing any days. When you would like to start your job recovery please send in your excuse. You will recieve no pay during this period of time.

To get off warning, you have to send in an excuse to why you weren't at work, as well as, sign-in an extra day, either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday (it must be one you don't already have work on). If you are on warning for a pay day you will only recieve half pay.

PROMOTIONS

Everyone in Marble Land is now elligble for promotions, meaning if you are a hard worker, that hardly ever misses work and frequently signs-in for overtime you have a great chance at getting bumped up. Immeadiatly after recieving a promotion you will be given an extra 2,000 Marbles with your weekly pay. Promotions will be posted in the guestbook and can be given out on any approiate day. You can recieve up to three promotions at once, one from each job. Different jobs may want different qualities in a worker before giving them a promotion.

Notice: Boyfriends, Husbands, Twins and so forth cannot be given promotions.
