Who is Syaoran?

Syaoran is a character created by the manga artists CLAMP originally as on of the main side characters in 'Cardcaptor Sakura'. However, recently, CLAMP have released 'Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles' in which Syaoran appears as -the- main character. There are slight differences between them, though their character build up is about the same.
