X.Com Home Game Download Dosbox Links

Welcome to X.Com! This site contains information for XCom: UFO Defense, a turn-based strategy game from 1994, which, although old, is still one of the best games ever made. The links page provides some sites which have additional information.

July 1, 2007 - I've done some clean-up and such. Main thing is that I've finally found a way to gracefully replicate the gradient border.

July 16, 2006 - I've done a major overhaul to the site style. Everything will look about the same on a computer by default, but the site will now retain it's color scheme on handheld devices, will print out cleaner (no navigation buttons, etc.), and best of all, will allow multiple color schemes to be chosen from (no IE support yet), and maybe, in the future, different layouts.

August 23, 2005 - I've been doing some work on the links page in the last few days. I have a nice pop-up that gives some brief information on the developers of XCom. Added a 'favicon'.

April 13, 2005 - Official site launch! I've done some work on the homepage, DOSBox page, and the links page.

February 27, 2005 - Added a DOSBox section. DOSBox is a program which allows you to run old DOS programs on a new computer at the same speed as the computer it was intended for. If you have trouble playing XCom on your computer, refer to the DOSBox section for help getting it working again.

December 24, 2004 - FreeWebs account opened.
