Skye helps Jason and Sam escape; Sam admits that holding Lila Rae brought back memories of the baby she lost. Tracy agrees to stay quiet about her marriage to Luke; Robin is angry when Patrick declares his love and Jax warns Carly not to lie to him.

Jason and Sam receive a hand from Cruz, but uh-oh, here comes Ric, ready to put the hammer down on them all.

Jason’s about to put the hammer down on Ric. Until Sam steps in, to hold her lover off from committing a prosecutable crime.

Sam and Jason flee, sneaking in to Lorenzo’s place for proof that she didn’t commit any crime.

Lorenzo almost walks in on Jason and Sam snooping around his crib.

Skye provides enough of a distraction so that Jason and Sam can make their safe getaway. But not for long.

Next, Jason and Sam hightail it to the Metro Court, to keep out of sight.

Thanks to Sonny and Carly, they manage to help Jason and Sam borrow more time.

Ric draws Sam out, waiting for the young woman to pay vigil at her miscarried baby’s gravesite. (Since it conveniently happens to be a year since baby Lila’s death.)

Sam falls for Ric’s cleverly drawn machination, heading over to her baby’s gravesite only to have the cops clamp down on her.

Jason and Elizabeth work overtime to duplicate Ric’s cell chip.

Jason and Elizabeth are then able to spy on Ric just as he orders his men to take Sam downtown for questioning and booking.

Sam makes a run for it, bullets flying. One catches her.

Jason is dying to speed on over there somehow to ascertain Sam’s medical state.

Sonny would rather Jason not risk getting caught by Ric and the cops.

Jason’s so full of concern for Sam’s welfare; he doesn’t mind Sonny’s warnings at all.

Ric puts Sam under while she’s at General Hospital, and waits for Jason to come by to take the bait.

Elizabeth volunteers to check in on Sam for Jason, but winds up as Ric’s hostage the second she ventures close.

Epiphany pitches in as distraction, so Jason can have Elizabeth help spirit Sam outta there to freedom.

Elizabeth accompanies Sam out of the hospital, without anyone else knowing.

Jason gets out of the hospital in one piece, too.
-
Ric has allowed Jason and Sam to get away with this, because it’ll make ‘em look even more criminal.

Sonny basically ends the stalemate between himself and Lorenzo with one, bold move.

Sonny just goes on in there, into Lorenzo’s, to look for proof to exonerate Sam; he doesn’t even care that Lorenzo, Skye and their baby are trying to enjoy instant family time.

Jax resigns himself to living with Carly doing whatever she can for best friend Jason. He doesn’t sweat the small stuff.

Dillon exhibits more than brotherly protectiveness toward Lulu around Pete.

Emily’s thoughtfulness about his birthday gives Nikolas a warm feeling inside.

Helena gets wind of Luke and Laura’s planned, upcoming nuptials.

Next week: Laura has a lot of catching up to do since her awakening. About four years’ worth. She’s coming along nicely, give or take a few close calls with full devastating revelation. Luke, however, finds himself wracked by what he knows and can’t tell… Jax asserts his masculinity on fiery, independent, headstrong Carly. He tells her how it’s gonna be with them and Jason and Sonny… Lorenzo and Ric forge ahead to muzzle Sam and Jason.
