The Chautauqua 5K(Wytheville 6-24-06) - The race was fantastic. 14 Wythe Striders ran in the race with Dr. David Meyer winning the overall race with a time of 16:33. Tom Smith finished with a time of 19:03 with a 2nd place in Masters. Brandon Mock finished 1st in 14 and under with at time of 19:43. Mark Wagner finished 1st in his age group with a 20:00 followed by Lonnie Thomas who finished 2nd in his age group with a 20:37. Marty Haddaway finished 3rd his his age group with a time of 21:17 followed by Owen Morgan finishing with a 22:00 and 2nd in his age group followed by Nick Crvich finishing 6th in his age group with a 22:34,Cameron Nye finishing 4th in his age group with a 23:39. Patricia Crvich finished 1st in her age group with a 24:45. Katie Wagner finished 5th in her age group with a 26:11 and Anita Wagner finished 2nd in her age group with a 26:22 . Jeremy Moore finished 2nd in his age group with a 26:47. Linda Meyer finished 4th in her age group with a 31:30. Congratulations to all who entered.
The Varmit 5K and 1/2 Marathon - Owen Morgan finished 1st in age group 14 and under in the 5K with a 23:50 and 1st in the kids 12 and under 1 mile fun run witha 6:01m Lonnie Thomas finished 5th overall in the 5K with a 21:04 and 1st in his age group; Danny Sturgil finished 1st in his age group 40-44 with a time of 1:28:41 and Tom Smith finished 4th in his age group 45-49 with a time of 1:33:47.

4/23/2006- The 5K Race at VT The Trail of Esperanza. David Meyer 1st(overall winner with at 17:50), Tom Smith (1st in age group 35-45 and 7th overall with a 20:36), Mark Wagner (2nd in age group 35-45 with a 22:36) and Linda Meyer (2nd in age goup 46 and up with a 32:40) Congratulation to the runners.
4/17/06- Boston Marathon- David Meyers ran a 2:42:33 marathon! Way to go Dave!

Anita and Katie Wagner both won first in their age division. Tom Smith, Lonnie Thomas, and Mark Wagner particpate in the race.
