Leila May Wykes was born on June 6, 1881 to Charles & Annie Wykes. She married Edgar (Babe) Smith on September 2, 1904. Babe was born March 18, 1871. Below is an article in which Leila's family members are mentioned briefly (1909).*

Leila died on July 26, 1959. Edgar had died on August 16, 1935, and they were both buried in the Smith Cemetery in Lampasas, Texas.
