On the way back to the title game the Canes beat the Cudas for the final time and forced a title game with Claytons team but Was shut down but Eric Clyaton in the title game. The canes had good offensive games from some top hitters and Greg Neely threw alot of tough inning Jim tucker also threw a great game against Claytons team and Travis Kerber battled out there for us. The Canes go back to work
The Hurricanes lost a tough one Sunday blowing a lead in the Top of the 7th. The canes gave up 2 runs in the Top of the 7th to Claytons team Sunday then Jon Sertich came out and closed out the game Clayton's team now await the Winner of Match up of 2 teams that have taken the Last 2 Roy Hobbs league titles. The Barracudas advanced with a defeat of the Hawks now have to Turn around and play on 3 days rest.
Greg Neely was awsome Weds. Night at the Sportsplex Striking out 16 in a 2-1 victory over the Preformance Enhancers. Greg pitched through a blister on his pitching finger. Mike Reiser had a RBI Double in the first to score Sean MaCarthy and Josh Cobb who recorded 2 BB Garnered enough attention at first Where Chris Jensen Threw a pick off attempt away allowing Josh to go from 1st to 3rd and Scoring on a passed ball The 2 runs were all the Canes Need, For a victory The Canes Move on to the Finals were they will face the winner of the Rebels and Clayton's team.

Nick Parojcic Tomahawked one out this weekend and Ken Sroka added to his all time RHL record with a bomb this has been the most prolific home run season for the Canes lets keep it up.

The Hurricanes ended there 2 week layoff in a rude awaking. The Rebels beat the Hirricanes for the second time this season giving the Canes both of there losses. After a slow start with our bats The Hurricanes Came away witht there first 12 run rule of the season The Hawks had a rough time finding the strike zone in the first Inning When the Canes Batted around. it has been awhile since my last post but with practice and 2 kids I lose alot of my time. Since we last posted We lost one of our new guys Jason Mikalokus due to time. But since then we picked up 2 very high level College players in Josh Cobb from Boone Grove and Nick Havens from Wheeler both All area team memebers and All state in there respective class. We also have our Schedule posted We will open up with Former Barracudas Great Jeremy Hogges New team the HAWKS.
We got our Money in and We are ready to go. The league will have 5 teams this season which is a upgrade from the 4 we had last year. We lost the Stone Cutters. But we added the Hawks who wil be run by former Barracuda Jeremy Hogge and the other will be a team from Boone Grove. It should be a exciting season.
