The Hurricanes ended there 2 week layoff in a rude awaking. The Rebels beat the Hirricanes for the second time this season giving the Canes both of there losses. The Canes plYED SLOPPY DEFENSE AGAIN AGAINST the Reb's making 6 errors over 6 inings. But not to be out Done Rebels New Ace Lance Losinsky Who went 5 striking out 13 out of 15 outs giving up 0 Runs.
The Hurricanes had there worst game of the year and maybe of all time on the Base paths where 5 Hurricanes Runners the victims of bad base running. The Canes Still won the Game but it was very ugly check out the Review.
After a slow start with our bats The Hurricanes Came away witht there first 12 run rule of the season The Hawks had a rough time finding the strike zone in the first Inning When the Canes Batted around. it has been awhile since my last post but with practice and 2 kids I lose alot of my time. Since we last posted We lost one of our new guys Jason Mikalokus due to time. But since then we picked up 2 very high level College players in Josh Cobb from Boone Grove and Nick Havens from Wheeler both All area team memebers and All state in there respective class. We also have our Schedule posted We will open up with Former Barracudas Great Jeremy Hogges New team the HAWKS.
We got our Money in and We are ready to go. The league will have 5 teams this season which is a upgrade from the 4 we had last year. We lost the Stone Cutters. But we added the Hawks who wil be run by former Barracuda Jeremy Hogge and the other will be a team from Boone Grove. It should be a exciting season.
