Banjo is also a new addition to the family. Banjo is a wonderful horse with lots of character. He was imprinted as a foal and loves human company. When Banjo is in a paddock with other horses and gets bored he will pick up sticks and hit the other horses with them just to get them to chase him. He has also been known to hit the drainpipes of your house to wake you up if you sleep in. Another funny moment of Banjo's is when the vet came to visit and he took off down the paddock with his bag of equipment loosing everything out of it. This is what i mean by CHARACTER. He is such an attention seeking horse.
Banjo is a very easy horse to catch. As soon as he sees you he comes running up to meet you and turns and puts his head into the halter for you. Banjo is such an easy horse to work with. He is learning things very quickly and is always looking for new ways to impress you. I am currently taking him through level 1 of the Parelli Program and we are up to the riding part, and doing Passenger lessons. He has been very well behaved and learning things with flying colours.
Banjo came from Brisbane and was owned by a lady called Mandy. Mandy loved Banjo to bits and misses him very much. I keep Mandy up to date with his progress and she is very happy with his new home. Banjo will be staying with me for the rest of his days and taken right through the parelli program.
I will keep this page updated with Banjo's progress so feel free to check back anytime.
