Whyteridge Kennels is a small kennel compared to the 'Show' kennel and we are the only kennel in Australia that is Trialing a ANKC registered White German Shepherd in 2008


  Our goals are to promote this kennel as a

'Working Obedience Kennel'

We  see all dogs have a drive to work and we would rather enhance the natural drives that any dog has and bring that to light!

Rather than

 Breeding for a already over populated market for the Show or
Pet or to ever add to any Designer Market despite what is in
fashion at any one time time!


We believe that in order to breed top working dogs we need to have the experience of trialing behind ourselves!  And........

Though hard work, we have achieved that with our star pupil
Wootton Alaska CDX  

 

We gained our CDX Title in 2007 with Wootton Alaska CD
And with the scores that he has gained since gaining his CDX Title he is in the 'Elite Class' within the Obedience Ring a fete that any trialer can understand the time and dedication that is required to get qualifying scores in the 190's

 Footnote: Wootton Alaska CDX was assessed in 2007 by two (2) independent ANKC Group 5 Judges.

The FACTS were assessed:
Wootton Alaska is a purebred German Shepherd and not only does he represent the breed 'German Shepherd' and he does hold the appropriate ANKC registration papers and is accordingly allowed all privileges in accordance be that of trialing or any other discipline available for entry by ANKC rules and regulations.
