West Rugby Women's Hockey Club is a small club with a long affiliation with West Harbour Rugby Club.

Our club currently consists of 2 Grass teams which both play in the Ryde-Eastwood Association competition on Saturday afternoons at Meadowbank, a Vets team (over 35) which plays on the turf at Homebush in the Sydney Women's Hockey League Vets competition, an Open team which plays at Homebush, Concord and Bankstown in the Sydney Women's Hockey Metro League and an Indoor Team (summer only).  

If you are interested in picking up a hockey stick again or for the first time, and would like a fun social team to play with, please contact us for more information by email to wrwhc@hotmail.com or come down and have a run with us at training at Cintra Park Concord on Thursday 6.30 - 7.30 (on the turf but open to all players) or sign up for preseason games (Feb - Mar).

Dates to remember 2009.

Registration will be held at Breakfast Point Common at 1.00-4.00pm on Saturday 7th Feb 2009. Come for a BBQ, bring your stick for a hit around.

Training starts in March 2009, 6.30 - 7.30 at Cintra Park and is compulsory for Opens players, optional to other players.

Preseason begins 15th February 2009 (at Homebush on turf) and is open to all players at $15 per game.

Opens season begins 22nd March 2009 through to September (played predominantly at Homebush, Bankstown and Concord)

Vets (over 35's) season begins 6th April 2009 through to September (played at Homebush).

Grass season begins early April through to end August (played at Meadowbank).

Presentation Day - to be announced

Summer comp and Indoor are played Oct - Dec only.
