Imagine walking down the street on a hot summer day in a new pair of shoes, having left the Beauty Shop where you left your African-American girlfriend who was getting her hair done. Then you stop on the corner at the traffic light to wait for the green light. Several big semi-trucks stop on a dime because they have the red light.

As you stand there you notice some children eating ice cream and their mother is talking on her cell phone.

You had left the shop to just take a walk to see the sights of the city, but you need to find a bathroom first. You go into one of the office buildings and use the toilet. You get on an elevator and ride up to the third floor.
