| In this serial killing society we have seen our good and bad serial killers and mass murderers. Oh, but what is the difference between the two? Serial killers go slow and steady, taking out their victims one at a time. Mass murderers take a large bulk of lives at one point, as if its the only major thing they have ever done in their miserable lives. Serial killers have style; mass murderers have none.  A gothic, turn of the century killer, H.H., also known as "The Torture Doctor", lured unsuspecting tenants to his gothic style mansion and hotel. There he knocked them out with a chlorofoam-soaked rag and threw them down an elevator shaft. When they came to, he either pisoned them or took them to the "torture chamber", which was home to dozens of mutilating devices. This suave charmer was finally caught in 1898 after over two-hundred suspected kills. |

 The 1917 roadside tavern and hotel, the Sociable Inn, was home to some of the most chilling murders of that time. Joe Ball, owner, had an alligator pit inside his tavern, and for the enjoyment of his tenants, threw small animals into the pit. The alligator's diets not only where made from cats and dogs, but also seven young waitresess who worked for him. Joe's downfall came when he told a client what was in the gator's high-protein diet, and was incarcerated the next day. Upon being questioned on the disappearence of the young ladies, he replied, "Oh, you know the type. they come and go anytime." |

 The poster boy for child abuse, Henry Lee was born during the Great Depression to an alcoholic father and a prostitute mother. His mother apparently had no concern for her child, even when his sibling gouged his left eye with a fork. His mother let the eye shrivel until it needed to be replaced with a glass eye. Mrs. Lucas also beat young Henry Lee, and sent him to school shoeless and in girl's clothing.
In 1955, Henry's mom made her last mistake, and pushed Henry over the edge, resulting in her death. Later henry met gay lover/killing team-mate Otis Toole in a Florida soup kitchen, and it went downhill from there..... |

 A creepy male prostitute with a taste for murder and having and his IQ being a blazing 78, Otis joined up with Henry Lee Lucas in a Florida soup kitchen during the mid-50's. The two became a serial-killing duo traveling the southwest taking lives whenever they leave. However, Henry Lee hated to know his victims names, even though he would kill, rape, and rob them. After every rape Henry Lee committed, Toole was said to slaughter gays in jealous fits of retribution. Lucas eventually fell in love with Toole's cousin, but killed and dismembered her during a fight. Otis Toole was captured shortly after that, and now lives today in California maximum security prison. Henry Lee Lucas evaded capture for another three or four years until the anguish of killing the only woman he ever loved compelled him to turn himself in. Henry Lee Lucas has now reportedly become a born-again Christian. |

 He loved Ac/Dc's song Nightstalker, maybe even more so than others. As a young spic satanist living during the mid-70's in California, Richard LIVED like a night stalker, prowling the suburbs of Los Angeles, breaking into houses and exterminating the people in their sleep. He took out the males with a pistol shot to the head, then either stabbed or strangled the females while raping them. On one occasion, he gouged out an elderly victims eye's with a spoon, skull-fucked her, then kept her eyeballs in plastic bag. After hinting to a lady friend that he might be the nightstalker, he was abruptly declared the killer. In fact, the residents of his neighborhood almost got him before the police did. During his trial, he flashed the sign of the devil at news reporters, and showed off the pentagram tattoo on his hand.
