The Waverly Piranhas Swim Club was established in 1964 - it is the oldest swim club in the Lansing area. All practices are held at the Waverly High School Pool in the evenings.
The only requirement to join the club is to be able to swim one length of the pool in any stroke.
Other sports promote swimming for endurance training, and coaches encourage swimming to keep their athletes conditioned between and before soccer, football, track, cross-country, and baseball.
Waverly Piranhas is a year around club divided into 4 sessions: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. A swimmer may swim any number of terms throughout the year given their own personal commitments.
MISSION STATEMENT
