This series promises to be even tackier than the previous ones – and sicker – with storylines including a baby being suffocated when a dog sits on its head and a granny dropping dead after an exciting encounter with Lionel Blair.

And, of course, there’s the lovely Tanya (Zoe Lucker).

Unfortunately for male fans, Zoe has pledged to keep her clothes ON for this series.

Well as you all know, the next series of Footballers Wives is now about to begin, as Thurs gets closer. Its the last series for Zoe Lucker, the fabulous and extremely glamorous Tanya Turner, but im looking forward to the new programme Bombshell in which she appears in later this year.

Well, Zoe and Footballers Wives were both nominated for a NAtional Television Award, Zoe for Best Actress, and Footballers Wives for Best Drama, but both sadly went away without a gong. Tues 26th saw the Awards on TV, and we all saw that Zoe looked absolutly gorgeous, and sporting her new hair do (pic to come soon) i saw the interview with Zoe afterwards, and how she said that Suranne Jones (who won best actress) deserved to win, which was awfully nice. Anyway to see the full line up of the winners themselves, the list is underneath.

We came up with Cristal Tipps as a joke about her character Tanya's champagne lifestyle in Footballers' Wives," said the manager of the bar where Zoes party was held.  At this years TV Quick awards Zoe won Best Actress. She was spooted looking gorgeous and sporting her new dark hair, oh and also apparently the nails have gone as she takes her new role in ITV's The Bombshell. Well done honey!

Footballers' Wives star Zoe Lucker has found love with a DJ, the Sunday Mirror reports today.

Lucker split from TV presenter, Tony Craig, earlier this year, but has been dating 27-year-old Tom Thorpe for the past two months.

"It's love, no doubt about it," a friend of the star told the newspaper. "They are like two giggly school kids when they are together.

"She's never been happier - and best of all they come from the same area so they've loads in common."

I heard a rumour the other day that Zoe is to appear in the next Strictly Come Dancing which will be broadcasted in Autumn. I am not sure whether this is 100% true but i think it is about 90% accurate. I hope she is in it and judging by the pictures in New! magazine the other day with Tanya and Conrad practicing their dancing for a scene in the upcoming series of Footballers Wives then Zoe will be great! Go Zoe!!!!

In the next series of Footballer's Wives, Tanya gives birth to a baby boy (Amber as well) and after Tanya swaps her's and Amber's baby she names her (Amber's) baby after the Ancient Greek city of Troy.

Tanya and Conrad also go OTT with baby Troy's christening, with an anciet greek theme!

Footballers Wives' Zoe Lucker has ditched her blonde hair to become a brunette! Zoe, famed as bitch Tanya Turner, also got rid of her false nails and fake tan to play Captain Jenna Marston in ITV1's Bombshell, due out next year. One thing hasn't changed - she still enjoys lots of romps!

Taken from recent copy (August 04) of The Sun newspaper, it stated that:

Footballer's Wives beauty Zoe Lucker is set to join an army boot camp for new ITV drama Bombshell.

The blonde - scheming Tanya Turner in the sex and soccer show - will ditch her make-up and glamorous outfits for combat gear as she is put through her paces on an assault course.

The eight-part drama will be set in Bosnia and on a British base. It is based on the 'Mucky Major' sex scandal involving officers from the King's Royal Hussars.

Zoe, 30 said: 'You get to see me running about in combat gear - sporting khaki jackets and combat pants and all sorts of things that Tanya would never dream of wearing. I'm also going to be Brunette. It will be m,y way of saying goodbye to Tanya.'

Bombshell is being made by Shed Productions, producers of Bad Girls and Footballers Wives. Filming starts in the nest few weeks.

In the last series of Footballers’ Wives…
Jason had just died the series earlier, and a inquest into his death was about to take place. The series opened with Chardonnay's funeral who had died (without been shown) of anorexia. We later discover from Kyle that it was Chardonnay who killed Jason, as she was the one that knocked him off the roof. Tanya married Frank Laslett, the clubs manager, not because she wanted to but because otherwise he would go to the police about her trying to kill him. New signing Conrad Gates arrived with his wife Amber to take Jason's place as Captain. And Tanya took an immediate liking to him. They were having an affair, but his wife Amber didnt like it so forged her own kidnapping, making Conrad believe she was been held by some mad-man, so that he would realise how much he loved her. But Tanya discovered this, and informed Conrad, so the pair (Tanya & Conrad) are now in a relationship, following the death of tanya's husband Frank. Alla long Tanya's plan was to kill Frank by having sexual relations with him, as she knew that his heart wouldn't take it (he was suffering from a heart problem) and he eventually died. Amber discovered she was pregnant after trying to hang herself in front of Conrad and Tanya, and then lastly Tanya also discovered she was pregnant, but with whose baby? Also Kyle is now in a relationship with Elaine (his physiotherapist) and Jackie (his mum) with new manager Roger Webb, Harley and Shannon got married, with guest Jordan turning up at their wedding and this was all on the Footballers Wives front. Not much happened then...
