Welcome to the world of origami. Origami is the ancient art of paper-folding, popular all over the world. Paper was invented in China two thousand years ago and was soon introduced to Japan, where they developed the art of origami. Later it became a fashionable hobbie at court. Moors in Spain also developed a type of Origami at the same time. Traditional origami models were rather simple, often using cuts and confined to simple representations of animals, people and objects. During the twentieth century, however, origami designs became much more advanced, realistic and imaginative through the work of Akira Yoshizawa. Today, the field of origami is continually advancing, with new design techniques based on science and mathematics allowing for incredibly realistic and seemingly impossible figures. All this is done without cuts, glue or multiple sheets of paper.

I have been doing origami for 13 years, since I was four years old. This website acts as a gallery for my origami compositions and also houses diagrams and crease patterns for some of them. I hope you enjoy my website.
