Concert for theremin and other, space-controlled
electronic music instruments
The world's first space controlled electronic music
instrument, the theremin was invented by a Russian scientist, Professor Lev
Tyermen (Leon Theremin), in 1920. The theremin was first introduced in Hungary
in December, 2000, with the performance of 'THEREMIN - An Oratorio Electronique' by DJ NoMore and DJ Redo, at the Hungarian
Academy of Music. The TheReMix electronic symphony is a live remix of the
Theremin oratorio's original sounds, with added new layers, composed for
theremin and other, space controlled electronic music instruments. The thinking
men's dance music.
A világ első térvezérlésű elektronikus hangszerét, és
feltalálója, Professzor Theremin orosz tudós élettörténetét, DJ Redo és DJ NoMore
zenéjével, elektronikus
oratórium formájában, 2000 decemberében mutatta be a budapesti Zeneakadémia.
A Nagy Fül Fesztiválon előadásra kerülő mű ugyanennek a témának elektronikus
szimfónia formájában történő újraértelmezése, aktualitásokkal és a new jazz
eszköztárával bővített, drum&bass alapú, post-industrial ambiance
stílusban, thereminre és más, térvezérlésű, elektronikus hangszerekre
komponálva. A gondolkodó ember tánczenéje.
