Wool Baby Knits is a mother/daughter knitting team: Anna and Crystal live in a quiet, little town in Maine, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Crystal's love for cloth diapering, coupled with Anna's love for knitting, spurred an awesome adventure between the two that they're thrilled to share with you. :)

Anna is a stay at home mom (and grammy!) who enjoys gardening, knitting, cross stitching and drinking coffee. ;) Crystal is a mom of three; a cloth diapering, babywearing, co-sleeping, unassisted birthing and breastfeeding advocate. She loves to learn and loves to share what she's learned with others. Anna has been knitting ever since she was a child, but spent many years cross stitching, until Crystal began to cloth diaper her children. (Aliyah: 3 1/2, Elijah: 2 1/2, and baby Courtney: 4 months old.) Anna quickly picked up knitting again and in no time had finished several soakers for Courtney before she was born. Anna then taught Crystal how to knit, and well ...the rest is history. :)

Wool Baby Knits is unique in that, as a team, Anna and Crystal are able to very quickly produce beautiful, quality wool soakers for your little ones. They use the same patterns and knit with the same tension; you cannot tell their work apart. Anna loves solid blues and turquoises, while Crystal likes contrasting trim and earthtones -- together, they've been able to offer a wide variety of styles in their store. Anna and Crystal love to knit customs -- the best reward in the world is seeing the photos that mama's send in of their little one's in a WBK soaker. :)

All Wool Baby Knits soakers are handknit on circular needles, and every waistband is two-layered, making them more comfortable for baby. Each piece is a labor of love from our family to yours -- we can't wait to hear from you! :)
