Eco Friendly and Sustainable Woodland Breaks: now taking bookings for 2007 season.
 
Our's is a Private Coppice Site, which in no way try's to compete with " holiday parks" and such, so don't think of visiting if you expect more than is listed below.
 
We live a basic life here, with outside loos, .... compost and flushing,  .... solar lights, outdoor solar shower, mains shower, campfire & gas cooking, hand washing of clothes, Well and mains water.
 
At this time we are in the process of planning and constructing a Coppice Hovel, Compost Loo, Organic Garden, Healing Herb Garden, and preparing Healing Remedies and Lotions.
 
We use as little water, and energy as we can, you will be amazed at how little you can live on, yet stay healthy and clean.
 
Eco Woodland Breaks, and Holidays may be booked for 2 and for up to 14 days.
We supply all the wood you need for your campfire, where you are welcome to cook your meals.
 
We have room for two four-man tents, and two two-man tents in this section.
 
We offer a unique alternative, instead of bringing a tent, you have the choice of building your own Woodland Shelter, with raw materials provided,  you just bring your ingenuity, music, and sunny outlook.
Tariff:  2 Adults, Single person @ two thirds tariff.

Local Attractions

Although our amenities here are basic, we are however ideally situated in South Wiltshire, for cycling and road trips, the south coast being only 32 miles away, Mudaford, Christchurch, Bournemouth, and such.
 
The ancient town of Wilton is less than two miles away, and offers basic shopping needs. 
 
Salisbury around four miles, offers many clubs and pubs, and has it's own theatre, cinema, market, and good shopping facilities.
 
Stonehenge twelve or so miles away, there are bus services that will get you there, via. Amesbury.
 
On all the hills around us can be found ancient settlements, of various ages, Old Sarum being just one.
 
There is tremendous scope for walkers to visit local byways, taking one through downland,  over and around the many hills and beautiful river vallies.
