Sgt. John Kriesel's family is organizing a silent auction to benefit the injured the Minnesota Nation Guard soldier, his wife and children.
The silent Autction is scheduled for 6 p.m. January 19 at the american Legion in Hugo. Organizers are still seeking donations.
Those intered in making contributions can send them to: Box410, 1911 Suburban Ave., St. Paul, MN 55119. The UPS Store in St. Paul has set up a mailbox for the event.
A benefit fund also has been set up at U.S. Bank. Checks can be made out to the John Kriesel Benefit Fund and can be dropped off at any U.S. Bank location.
A fund for corporate donors also has been extablished. For business tax-deductible contributions, send donations to any American Bank Branch in the Twin Cities, in care of the John Kriesel Benefit Fund.
