Sister Betty a.k.a "Daughter Of The King" was born in Richmond,Virginia on March 14, 1956, and she is the oldest daughter of four siblings. Her father was a military man. Raised by a single mother after her mother and dad divorced. Sister Betty was raised in the state of Oklahoma. She graduated from Checotah High School in 1974. She accepted Christ Jesus at the age of seventeen, and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in her late 20's. This was when God began to really manifest his glory in her life. She has one child, a daughter, and two beautiful granddaughters Tylicia nine, and Torri six. Sister Betty has been doing the work of an evangelist since her daughter was an infant. And didn't know that was what she was doing. She recalls the times she would minister to the elders, and families that were less fortunate; visiting and sharing gifts of homemade goodies, and a listening ear of the elders stories that they would share doing each visit.
Sister Betty father and uncle both were called into the ministry of God doing their years. The late Pastor L. Green, and Pastor Willie A. Wallace, both are no longer with us. Sister Betty had not that much of a childhood with her father. God gave her the chose to forgive, and move forward. Her uncle was much like a father figure, he was one that did not judge when she was out in the world. He judged her just as God commanded him to, and that was to judge within righteousness. He told her as he was delivering his message to her, "Let no one in this world have you to believe that they have no sin, and that the Bible states that we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." We all have a journey. To this very day she will never forget the message he left her. She is thankful for those encouraging words that he was sowing into her heart. And today He Calls Me Bless is doing that same thing, sowing Gods seeds.
Sister Betty has been called to minister to people of every age, and ethnic group. She has a powerful testimony that ministers healing to those that have been divorced. God has taken her through traumatic situations such as a miscarriage pregnancy, promiscuity, low self-esteem, low self-worth, and a few suicidal attempts, and verbal abuse. Her mess is her message today.
No one is a stranger to this vessel of honor, her joyous laughter, witty sense of humor is certainly a blessing to everyone she meets. She loves to talk, because she has so many wonderful things to say, all for the glory of God. The Holy Spirit has truly used Sister Betty across the Internet through her writings to touch many people, as she stands as a bold witness for the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Her motto is "Stop looking back; look forward, what is behind you is behind you". God has a plan for your life. Let us keep pushing forward no matter what we will have to go through. Jesus never said that it would be easy. We must go through it to get to it; with the help of Christ Jesus. "
Her favorite scripture is I John 4:4, "Because greater is he that in you, than he that is in the world."
Sister Betty was a Freelance Writer for "A New Woman Ministries", Sister Betty was blessed by "Pastor Tracy L. Foreman", whom God brought into her life, as her mentor. She gives thanks to God for this Woman of God' that she listen to Gods command to take Sister Betty under her wings of Agape. As Seasons changes Sister Betty was set into another direction of a Bless church who she is now a member of "Empowered Life Ministry" Pastor Corey White. Who is a Awesome man of God who is truly a Man of God, that is a Faithful Teacher of God. Who is about his Heavenly Father business. Pastor Corey is all about teaching the Word of Truth, and that is the Word of God. God Bless him and all his members. A Wonderful church family to have. Sister Betty says that she is ever so Empowered! She said that she gives God the Praise and Glory for her life today. Everyday she reads the book of Psalm 91 everyday. She says that she knows where her help comes from, and that is from the LORD!
Sister Betty was Self Employed, as a Avon Independent Sales Rep. & Representative. Where she had used her business at the time to help the Homeless... where it was needed for a Ministry that is still this day ran by a Sister In Christ, and a bless Friend in Christ Pastor Linda Mack in North Texas. Sister Betty use to be on BlogTalkRadio, Where she Host her own radio show "Waiting To Exhale The Love Of Jesus Christ Ministry. She has moved on in the name of Jesus to whatever the calling that Christ has called her to do. She still bring forth spiritual encouragement not only to others, but for herself as well. She still at times brings forth a message on Snap Vine, and, Talk shoe, and there are other sites as well on line that she this day works on each day.
Sister Betty is a Woman of God on fire for Jesus that is a beautiful life of joy, peace and prosperity in the State of Texas. And at this time she recieves donations from individuals that donate clothers. Where she wash, press, and hang them to give those that are in need of them, self-worth, and confidence in themselves.
