Welcome to the Panther's Den - a unique web site based on the "sport played in heaven".  Established in August 2005, the Panthers Women's Rugby Club represents the third and the most awaited and admired women's team on the island.  Guided by core values of personal discipline, goal-setting and accountability, Panthers are committed to the physical and mental development of their athletes in pursuit of sporting excellence. 

This is the site for the hardcore players and fans of true Rugby Players.  Our players might be new to the sport of Rugby and still unxperienced but the heart is very strong.  We won our first match ever against Sharks, who had just beaten the Kavallieri for the very first time in History, during our first summer's beach rugby event! I hope this site provides an entertainment on those days when you're stuck in your office or home, wishing you could be out on the pitch. As well as a reference and guide for all rugby players, apart from the Panthers of course!

  Malta Rugby Awards 2008 - Women's Catagory

Team of the season: Panthers 2nd place

Most Promosing Talent: Alexia Baldacchino 2nd place

Best Coach: Emma Fenech Soler and Justin Bargolio 2nd place

In, 2007 the Referees Society Fair Play Award went to

1.    Overseas RUFC

2.    Panthers WRFC

and the Best Coach award went to Panthers WRFC under Sam Rammage.

 WELL DONE TO ALL!

on the Malta Nataional Squad side, MALTA was made PROUD by comming 5th and winning the plate...instead of going all the way to the World Cup.  I wish all a speedy recovery in all the injuries incurred and hard lines for the ones that remained in Malta.

Well done to the Sharks Ladies on their first Ben Bennett Women's Tri-Tournament League Winners.
