Welcome to
I have been keeping ferrets for the past 7 years now. This began when I had 2 ferrets Itzy & Bitzy, and then gradually increased my numbers when I saw how many different colours there were!!!
Through speaking to other ferret lovers I found out how difficult it is to find someone to look after them when the time comes to go on holiday, so I decided to set up my own boarding facilities where owners are safe in the knowledge that their pets will be safe in an RSPCA approved premises.
The rescue side of things began slowly until I offered to take in rescued ferrets for the RSPCA and since then I have had many, many rescue & unwanted ferrets handed in here.
Unfortunately only 4 ferrets have ever been reunited back with their owners, which is a very disappointing number. With this in mind please think very carefully about keeping ferrets as they are very good escape artists and it is such a shame that owners dont try harder to find their lost pets!!!!!!!
I have added lots of useful information on this site which will hopefully answer any questions about general ferret welfare you may have, but feel free to call or email me if you would like any further information.
I usually have many ferrets looking for new secure, loving homes so please check out my “needing a home” page if you are interested in adopting a ferret or two!! Currently I have over 100 ferrets here - mainly recsued ones!!!
PLEASE THINK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE BREEDING - OVER 50 KITS HAVE BEEN HANDED IN SO FAR THIS YEAR!!! THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE OLDER RESCUE & UNWANTED FERRETS!
The rescue is funded soley by myself so any donations are most gratefully received!!!
I also hold "ferrety" events across the country to raise funds for the rescue. This includes ferret racing, ferret roulette, ferret products for sale and a tombola. Details of any events I already have booked are on my events calendar, but if you would like us to attend your fete or fundraiser please feel free to contact me to arrange.
