The Official World Naked Bike Ride Columbus, Ohio Website!

The World Naked Bike Ride event is a protest against oil dependency and a celebration of the power and individuality of our bodies and the Columbus WNBR is no exception. The World Naked Bike Ride events have been occurring since 2004 and still happen all across the world. Each year on WNBR day, people gather, naked or clothed, all "riding in celebration, jubilation to deliver a vision of a cleaner, safer, body-positive world to the masses." (nakedwiki.org). All are welcome be they cyclists, skate boarders, rollerskaters, or rollerbladers. All ages, sizes and colors are welcome! The motto of the WNBR is "as bare as you dare" meaning clothing is optional but nudity, while encouraged, is by no means required. We do not discriminate based upon the amount of clothing or body paint worn or not worn or upon anything else. Creativity is strongly encouraged, from body paint to bike decorations. We support and encourage the decoration of bikes and bodies with political messages or beautiful designs. Engaging the public is also encouraged. From expression through art to flyers and other outlets, we feel that getting people to laugh and smile is a great, non-threatening way to share ideas and connect.
