Meditation Beginning Thoughts There are always thoughts running through our heads. Because of this, it is normally hard for anyone to concentrate on one thing for a long period of time. Therefore, the first step in learning how to meditate is learning to concentrate and focus. Within concentration, we learn to direct our attention to one point of intrest and forget all else.The second step in learning to meditate is performing meditation excersizes. Starting small and growing is the key to success. Apart from specific excersizes, you should also be aware of where and with whom you meditate with, what is in yoru stomach before meditation, and music you listen to while meditating. You will need to find exactly what to do to ensure your comfort and therefore bringing success. Relaxation Excersize Before meditating, spend a few minutes preparing your body and mind. Imagine the tensions in your body pouring out of your fingers and toes and into the ground. Sit with your muscles relaxed and focus your attention from your head and downwards as if massaging tension downwards until all if relieved.Concentration Excersize Immediately after your relaxation excersize, concentrate on a specific point of interest. This will be the same process you will use while performing spells. While concentrating on a specific point of interest, push all other thoughts away. Imagine your point of interest in a bordered sphere while your other thoughts are trying to push in. Concentrate on your border pushing those thoughts away until your border grows wide enough to cover your entire vision. Once you achieve this, try keeping hold of that vision as long as you can. Practice this excersize at least once a week until the time it takes you to clear all other thoughts out of your head has become seconds. Once you have achieved this, you are ready for meditation within your spellcrafting. |
