My name is Eric Winkler, and I am the owner/operator of With Intent Wasters. I have been involved in various martial arts almost all of my life. Like many of you I started out with Asian Martial Arts. I was introduced to Renaissance Martial Arts in 2005 and was instantly hooked. I am now a member of ARMA and train with the ARMA Appleton Study Group. Being a cabinetmaker by trade, I found it very rewarding to make my own waster. Before long I was making wasters for other people and have produced many different styles. After spending a great deal of time making wasters only to have them eventually splinter, crack, or even break, I started looking for a more durable material, and this search led me to try plastic. After a year of experimentation, design changes, and input from fellow western martial artists, I now have a design that I am happy with. I am now offering these wasters to you, and I hope you enjoy using them as much as I do.
