Hello and welcome to website of the Wivelsfield Bell Ringers!

 

The church of St Peter and St John Baptist, Wivelsfield can be found in the centre of Sussex, approximately 10 miles north of the City of Brighton and a mile or two south of the Town of Haywards Heath.

Ringing Times

 

We ring for Sunday morning services where possible. However due to the service schedule this does not happen every week. Currently we are ringing every Sunday except for the third Sunday, from 10am until 10:30am.

We try to ring a quarter peal once a month prior to Evensong.

 

We practice once a week on Thursday evenings from 8pm until 9:15pm.

 

If you are in the area but not around on a Thursday evening I am sure many of our neighbouring Towers would be glad to see you.

Other practice nights in the area:-

• Monday - St John the Evangelist, Burgess Hill, 7:45 - 9:00pm (8 bells, 15 cwt)

• Tuesday - St Margarets, Ditchling, 8:00 - 9:15pm (8 bells, 8 cwt)

• Wednesday - St Cosmos & St Damian, Keymer, 8:00 - 9:15pm (6 bells 7 cwt)

• Friday - Holy Trinity, Cuckfield, 8:00 - 9:30pm (8 bells 15cwt)
