If you are unsure of your resolution, right-click on desktop and click Properties. In Properties click the Settings tab. At the lower left you will see Screen resolution .

I have found out that certain pop-up blockers and certain spy-ware protecters disables javascript. If you are not able to open the site it is because of your pop-up blocker, you should be able to change it in the settings of your pop-up blocker to allow javascript. I use Spywareblaser which is freeware and can be downloaded at http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html . The program enables javascript, but still protects against spyware.
